Julianadorp Sand Festival
From May through the end of August 2026, Julianadorp will transform into a unique open-air art festival: the Zandspektakel Julianadorp. At four special locations throughout the village, visitors can admire stunning, towering sand sculptures created by sand artists without the use of machinery—using only sand, water, and their craftsmanship.
Zijpe aan Zee Art Trail
Art Festival on the Beach in the Municipality of SchagenWith your feet in the sand, the sun slowly sinking into the sea, and art in all its forms all around you: Ku(n)stroute Zijpe aan Zee is a unique art festival on the beach. From May 29 through June 14, 2026, the beaches of Groote Keeten, Callantsoog, Sint Maartenszee, and Petten will serve as the backdrop for two weeks filled with art, culture, and social interaction.

Rhythm Voice is once again presenting its annual summer concert at the Spoorbuurtkerk in Anna Paulowna. This year’s concert is themed “Dutch Summer Sounds”: familiar music, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and an evening filled with choral singing to kick off the summer. Come listen, bring a friend, and enjoy an accessible musical evening in the Kop van Noord-Holland. Admission is free, so feel free to drop by and let yourself be carried away by the voices of Rhythm Voice.

On Sunday afternoons, the Muziektuin in Schagen a charming setting for a relaxed musical gathering. Visitors can enjoy live music in the open air, surrounded by greenery and a friendly atmosphere. Sunday afternoons at the Muziektuin offer an accessible outing for both residents and visitors to Schagen.
Bløf Rock Show
The performance in the music garden will feature songs spanning Bløf’s entire history. Naturally, the focus will be on the themes of faith and life. There isn’t a title yet, but it will certainly revolve around life as human beings on Earth. The service is organized by the Protestant Congregation of Winkel and Surrounding Areas and financially supported by several Protestant congregations in the region. The pastor leading the service is “rock pastor” Jan Andries de Boer.

The Schagen Theater School Schagen classes for various age groups where students learn to act and perform in a play. During the performance of “Jumanji Kids Summer Camp” by our Junior Stars (ages 9–12), you’ll be swept up in their unique take on the movie “Jumanji.” The stars discover that they have magical powers and that they must complete various escape challenges to return to the real world.

The Schagen Theater School Schagen classes for various age groups where students learn to act and perform in a play. During this performance of “The Banishment” by the group De Podium Spelers (ages 13 to 18), you’ll see them shine in a play they wrote themselves. De Podium Spelers find themselves in a magical world where the witches want to banish not only the humans but also the fairies. This must not happen; the world must remain in balance. The witches must not win!
Schagen Theater School Schagen Masters of the Canvas
The Schagen Theater School Schagen classes for various age groups where students learn to act and perform in a play. During this performance, the audience will see the Masters of the Canvas shine in a play they wrote themselves. The Masters have been assigned their characters and can now come up with their own endings. This leads them to a “Friends Weekend” where a lot happens. Love, something scary from the woods, but also lots of fun.

Farmers' Fair
Every year, Westerland—at the highest point of the former island of Wieringen—hosts the most charming Farm Fair in North Holland. This fair, with its friendly atmosphere, offers a wide range of activities for all ages. Demonstrations, various performances, and nearly 100 booths featuring farm products, antiques, vintage goods, cultural items, a variety of food stalls, a tea tent with homemade cakes, a coloring contest for children, live music, and entertainment.
Petten Seaside Walk Summer Hike
For the first time, Zeezichtloop Petten is organizing the Zeezichtloop Summer Walk. A delightful walking tour for all ages.There are four different distances to choose from: 7 kilometers (family walk including children’s activities), 10, 15, or 21 kilometers. The routes take you past the most beautiful parts of the area: dunes, polders, wooded areas, and the coastal region around Petten. Along the way, there are a stamp station, a water station, and refreshment stops. Plus, participation includes a complimentary drink.

Tribute Night | Fleetwood Mac & Supertramp
In their anniversary year (the band was founded in 2016), the Magnusmen are taking a trip back to the 1970s, with music by Fleetwood Mac and Supertramp. Bands that defined pop music roughly half a century ago, the era of the great albums: Crime of the Century, Rumours, Breakfast in America, and Tusk. All these albums—and especially the hit singles, including those from the later album Tango of the Night—will be featured.

Musical Jack-of-All-Trades Luuk Lenders
Musical jack-of-all-trades Luuk Lenders is coming to Scagon de Luxe. Luuk plays beautiful folk music using unique instruments: from Irish whistles, ocarinas, and accordions to pan flutes, table bells, and foot percussion... Especially for this concert, his drawings will be projected, and he will also perform some Celtic and Old Dutch Christmas music.
