“Don’t Let It Get You Down” The Koor Grenzenloos choir performs songs about hope, struggle, and comfort in a diverse themed concert
The choir members come from all over West Friesland. Every other week, the voices of the Koor Grenzenloos choir can be heard somewhere in the northern part of North Holland during rehearsals held at members’ homes. The choir performs at concerts it organizes itself, as well as at clubs and choir festivals throughout North Holland.
Amidst potato crates in a West Frisian meadow, Koor Grenzenloos’s new program took shape. “Laat je niet kisten” is a performance filled with music, in which hope, struggle, and comfort intertwine. Under the direction of Martijn Bos, this close-knit group of six male and six female singers performs, accompanied by a regular ensemble. An intimate yet energetic sound—ranging from small, fragile songs to pieces that fill the entire space—will resonate throughout the performance.
