In their anniversary year (the band was founded in 2016), the Magnusmen are taking a trip back to the 1970s, with music by Fleetwood Mac and Supertramp. Bands that defined pop music roughly half a century ago, the era of the great albums: Crime of the Century, Rumours, Breakfast in America, and Tusk. All these albums—and especially the hit singles, including those from the later album Tango of the Night—will be featured.
Back to Fleetwood naturally features voices reminiscent of Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, and Lindsey Buckingham. The eight-piece band Supertribute includes four vocalists—one of whom is a female singer—as well as three keyboardists and a horn player. During the pre-show for the tribute night, starting at 7:30 p.m., old concert footage and music videos from the 1970s will be shown.
